Something Unique!

We realise that not many of you sail around in 3-masters built 100 years ago, the likes of the Christian Radich, the Norwegian training ship. But when the Radich decided to renew her complete sail inventory of 14,480 sq. ft, Lee Sails was selected to do it.

So were other tall ships like the American Rover, the Sorlandet, the Statsraad Lehmkuhl, the Te Quest, the Unicorn, etc. In fact, it's the adaptability and versatility that have made Lee Sails a truly international sailmaker. Be it a fleet of sabots or a renowned Beneteau 51, you'll find Lee Sails on board.

Iceboats With Lee Sails - Fast! Fast! Fast!

Finally got a decent photo of my little gaff rigged iceboat with the really GREAT Lee Sails! Had a bit of a short season this year on Lake Pepin, but got a lot of great complements on the sails and the boat really handled well. E. Newcomb, Lake Pepin Ice Yacht Club.

Lee Sails Northeast is proud to have equiped a number of Iceboats for Mr. Newcomb. He restores and builds them so, if you're looking for an Ice Boat please email us and we will put you in touch with him.

The Appledore

From the moment you set foot upon her solid deck, you sense something special about the Appledore. You are taken with the massive spars, the symmetry of the halyards and sheets coiled on their pins, the glossy grain of varnished wood. Nothing stirs the romantic heart more then the Appledore’s classic wooden hull whispering its way into the seas. The Appledore – more then a boat, it’s a tradition.

Lee Sails
is proud to have fully outfitted the Appledore with a full set of sails and you can sail on her yourself if you happen to be in Camden, Maine. >> Visit the Appledore
