The Mainsail is your yacht's driving sail. For cruising boats
in particular, the mainsail is an important sail, being one
of the hardest working of the complete inventory.
You'll find
features in our sails that are specifically included to extend
its life: reinforced batten pockets;
fiberglass battens; leech line; tack and clew with leather
chafe guards; sail numbers and class insignia; tell tales;
leather encased, hand-sewn aluminum internal headboard
and triple stitched with 6-points zigzag seams when required;
stainless steel, heavy duty cringles; reinforced stress
points. Read

The Headsail is the performance
end of your yacht's sail inventory. It therefore has to
be designed carefully with the correct amount of shape
and the maximum amount of durability.
Standard features include: leech line; tell
tales; bronze piston hanks or luff tape; double folded leach
and foot tabling; large reinforcing patches; leather chafe
protection at head, tack and clew; rope luff or vinyl coated
s.s. wire luff.
For cruisers, our headsails feature triple
stitching with 6-points zigzag, rat tailed bolt ropes, leather
chafe guards under piston hanks.
Tan-bark and other colours
are available in most weights, plus we build headsails for
various roller furling systems. Read

Radial Head Drifter, Blister
(Asymmetrical Cruising Spinnaker)
|
 |
Any sailor is exposed
to a wide variety of wind conditions. One day the
wind is blowing a stiff breeze, the next day it's
a whisper. For that reason the Cruising Spinnaker (Figure
A) is a very useful addition to the inventory of the average
cruising yacht. It's the easiest to use requiring no pole
or separate halyard and is surprisingly affordable. A launching
and dousing sock is optional but recommended.
We can also make this sail in Star-Cut design at extra
cost.

Tri-Radial, Star Cut & Radial
Head Spinnakers
|
|
|
The Tri-Radial (Figure B) is our all
purpose spinnaker, performing well from a reach to
a dead run in a variety of wind conditions. The Star-Cut
(Figure C) is a reaching sail and frequently referred
to as the "storm" spinnaker. It's built
specifically for heavy wind performance - very useful
for the racing or offshore sailor. The Radial Head
spinnaker (Figure D) is a spinnaker designed primarily
for downwind performance and is also somewhat less
costly. Read
